Julian served as a Boom Operator in the United States Air Force, where he was responsible for refueling planes mid-flight.

During his service, he had the honor of singing the National Anthem at an NFL game in tribute to military personnel, which helped him quickly gain an online following as a singer. He later became a finalist on Season 20 of The Voice as a member of Team Nick Jonas.

In addition to his music career, Julian is a devoted single father and works as a Cloud Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton. He is currently preparing to release his debut single, Love Like This, marking his first musical release since The Voice.
